That's what Sony said in March, regarding the creative PS3 platformer. Unfortunately, a demo never came, and a delay of the full version appears to have been all but confirmed this month.

Three Speech, Sony Europe's unofficial PlayStation blog, first reported the delay saying the game would arrive in "September or October." It was unclear, however, if the delay was exclusive to European shores.

EGM, published for American audiences, then reinforced the Three Speech report in their January issue listing the game's release date as "sometime in 2008."

SCEA was not immediately available for confirmation, but a fall 2008 release date seems probable in light of the new information and demo delay.

LittleBigPlanet lets players control bite-size characters while shaping user-created environments, either individually, collaboratively, or competitively.
