when ever i play a psp game like midnight club 3 or GTA vice city stories my psp keeps coming up asking me if i want to quit the game and i don't know what to do to stop it! i have even tried re-installing CFW but that didn't work.

Do you have a UMD in the drive?

I played Midnight Club 3 before and it never happen to me but maybe...

you have either a bad ISO/CSO file or try configuring your UMD Mode in recovery menu
1. press right shoulder button and power on
2. proceed to Configuration
3. choose M33 driver -NO UMD- because it has the latest compatiblity with newer games compared to Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-

*I remember DAX release 390m33-3 to improve NO-UMD Compatibility of March33 NO-UMD driver to support games like Coded Arms, Patapon, Harvest Moon Innocent Life and probably others affected by same errors.

i have the umd in and set to m33 driver -no umd-

i just updated to CFW 4.01M33-2 last night but would it help if i went back down to 3.80M33 or 3.90M33 and tried to play that way? i have had 4.01M33 for over two weeks now<br><br>Post edited by: lilturtleboy, at: 2008/08/09 13:35

there is no need to downgrade to 3.90m33-3, I'm using CFW 4.01m33-2 and using M33 -NO UMD- configuration for UMD Mode and I don't have problem with these games, did you configure your UMD Mode already? if yes then try this

1.recovery menu
2.goto Advanced
3.Format flash1 and reset settings
